I have not put 100% effort into contacting support yet. It comes in phases when everything starts acting up. 2 users today I just uninstalled it and reinstalled another AV solution and it was like a whole new life was brought back into that machine. Kaspersky Support first gave me the best practices guide above and I got even more frustrated and left it at that. Whenever I have an issue now, I uninstall Kaspersky and install something else, it is just the quickest and most efficient thing to do.
